CastReader is an independent read-aloud and AI explanation app for long-form reading. It helps people listen to Kindle-related reading flows, PDFs, EPUBs, web pages, Google Docs, AI chat answers, images, and pasted text while keeping the original text, highlighting, and progress in sync.

Our Mission

We believe everyone should be able to consume web content in the way that works best for them. Whether you have dyslexia, ADHD, visual fatigue, or simply prefer listening over reading, CastReader turns long reading into audio and helps explain hard passages when plain text-to-speech is not enough.

What We Build

• Mobile app — Kindle read-aloud workflows on iPhone and Android with synced highlighting, auto-scroll, background playback, resume progress, and AI explanations.
• Browser extension — Read web pages, Google Docs, Kindle Cloud Reader, PDFs in the browser, and AI chat answers aloud with page-aware extraction.
• Document workflows — Read PDFs, EPUBs, DOCX files, images/OCR, pasted text, and long documents aloud where supported.
• AI Chatbot Listener — Listen button next to every ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and DeepSeek response.
• AI Explain — Explain dense books, papers, reports, contracts, manuals, foreign-language passages, and technical material while preserving the original text context.
