Messenger, WhatsApp, and Instagram are native mobile apps — browser extensions don't run inside them. But when Meta AI answers are shared out of those apps, the links usually open as meta.ai share pages in the browser, and CastReader reads those normally. For in-app Meta AI chat on mobile, CastReader doesn't apply.
Does it skip 'Imagine' image descriptions?
Meta AI's Imagine feature generates images alongside text. CastReader reads the text explanation and skips the image attachment UI — you hear the actual answer, not 'Image generated' metadata being spelled out.
Does it work with meta.ai share links?
Yes. Public meta.ai share links (sent from the Share button on an answer) work with CastReader. Recipients just need CastReader installed — no Meta login required on their side for public shares.
Can I listen to local LLaMA models too?
If you run LLaMA locally in a web UI that renders plain assistant messages — LM Studio's web view, Open WebUI, text-generation-webui, etc. — CastReader's generic page reading usually works. The dedicated Meta AI extractor is tuned for meta.ai specifically.
