About This Book
Hannah Jane Locker nee Lampson (1830-1915) was a children's writer. She was the only daughter of Sir Curtis Miranda Lampson, Bart., of Rowfant, Sussex. In 1874 she married Frederick Locker (1821-1895), an English man of letters and poet who in 1885 took his wife's surname and they became Mr and Mrs Locker-Lampson. Her works include Shaw's Farm (1880) and What the Blackbird Said: A Story in Four Chirps (1881).
