About This Book
Alphonse Courlander was a British journalist, poet and author of Russian extraction but born in London on 11 April 1881, the son of Louis Courlander and his wife Gertrude.He published seven novels and a book of verse. As a journalist he worked primarily for the Daily Express. He committed suicide in 1914.
